No Vehicle A/C? Is that survivable?

Well, kinda. I'm too cheap to get A/C in my vehicles so I have to deal with summer heat without it.

DISCLAIMER-if you drive home in rush hour traffic in Colorado without A/C, it can get brutal, possibly even unhealthy.   I'm not recommending that you stoip using air conditioning in a hot vehicle.

Some people are simply trying to cut down on vehicle A/C use.  That's what this blog is about.

When I had to leave at rush hour, I used to park in a Light Rail garage and Light Rail it part of the way to work.  It added expense, but also cut down on my gas use and wear and tear, so there was some trade-off, but mainly I wanted to get out of the heat for about half of my commute, and to me it was worth it.

My other methods for survival include a spray bottle and a good hand fan from an imports store (not the folding kind, the round kind) a "neck buddy", water bottles filled with ice water and even a small cooler with more bottles of ice water.   I also dress in layers, so I can take off a work shirt and drive home in a sleeveless shell or a tank.  It's a lot to deal with, but in case you have no A/C in your vehicle or it broke or you're trying to cut down, here's a cool article.
